This lifelong learning programme focuses on developing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of corporate sustainability, with a strong emphasis on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles. Participants will learn to identify and assess key environmental and social impacts, risks, and opportunities; navigate ESG regulations; and design ESG reporting frameworks aligned with current standards. The course also emphasizes transparent sustainability communication, stakeholder engagement, prevention of greenwashing, and impact measurement using KPIs and benchmarking. The programme combines in-person and online learning, self-study via LMS Moodle, and the development of a final project. It is tailored for professionals in the private, public, or non-profit sectors who are responsible for implementing sustainable strategies and ESG approaches.

Required prerequisites:
Completed secondary education. The programme does not build upon any prior course and no prerequisites are required for participation.
Graduate’s profile:
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the core principles of sustainable development and how they align with business strategy. They will learn to identify key environmental and social impacts, risks and opportunities specific to organizations and assess their material relevance within a broader context. The programme provides orientation in major ESG regulatory frameworks and standards, explains the structure and purpose of ESG reporting, and highlights its role in corporate operations. Participants will also learn how to map key stakeholders in relation to sustainability and understand the importance of their engagement. They will be able to recognize various forms of greenwashing (misleading sustainability marketing) and become familiar with regulatory tools to prevent it. The course also introduces methods for evaluating ESG performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), benchmarking and impact assessment.
