Anotace programu/kurzu
In recent years, the development of open science has significantly transformed the conditions and requirements set by both international and national funding bodies for research, development, and innovation. The core open science practices within research projects include open access publishing and research data management. This course aims to highlight model requirements and demonstrate practical pathways to meeting them. We will present the main open access models, options for covering APCs, Creative Commons licensing, and the role of publication repositories. The course will also introduce the fundamentals of research data management in line with the FAIR principles, including the key components of a Data Management Plan (DMP). In addition, the course will briefly cover optional open?science practices that appear in some grant calls, such as preregistration of research intentions, creation of open educational resources, and public engagement in research (citizen science). Practical tips, recommendations, and guidance, such as suggested tools, platforms, and useful websites, will also be included as part of the programme.
